“Quid pro quo is a Latin phrase used in English to mean an exchange of goods or services, in which one transfer is contingent upon the other; “a favor for a favor”. Phrases with similar meanings include: “give and take”, “tit for tat”, “you scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours”, and “one hand washes the other”.” (Wikipedia, 2020)

It’s likely a phrase you’ve heard a few too many times in the past 6 months.  Quid pro quo.  A favor for a favor.  Democrats accuse President Trump of just that.  A favor for a favor – and they contest that it’s an impeachable offense.

First, the video –> Biden Quid Pro Quo

On January 21st, 2018, Biden stated, “I went over, I guess, the 12th or 13th time, to Kiev, and uh, and I was supposed to announce that they had gotten another Billion dollar loan guarantee.  And I had gotten commitment from (President) Poroshenko and from uh, (Prime Minister) Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor and they didn’t.  So they said they hadn’t, they were walking out to the press conference and I said “Nah, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars.”  They said “You have no authority, you’re not the President.  The President said…”  I said, “Call him. I’m telling you you’re not getting the billion dollars.  You’re not getting a billion and I’m going to be leaving here in about 6 hours.  If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.”  Well son of a bitch, he got fired.”

So in this video, Former Vice President Joe Biden, openly admitted to quid pro quo with the former President and Prime Minister of Ukraine while Biden was Vice President of the United States.  The billion dollars for the firing of a prosecutor – quid pro quo.  This prosecutor was in charge of the corruption investigation into Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company – one Joe’s son, Hunter Biden was currently serving on the Board of Directors for.  He had the prosecutor fired that was investigating the company his son worked for!

A common tactic in American politics is to accuse the other side of exactly what you’re doing.  I have proven, by the man’s own words, that former Vice President Joe Biden committed quid pro quo with a foreign government while in public office.

A whistleblower reported a phone call from July 25th, 2019 between President Trump and the new President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.  The report stated that President Trump used quid pro quo to initiate an investigation against the Bidens and their dealings in Ukraine.  The video of Biden, which was 16 months old at the time of this phone call, was alone enough reason to start an investigation.  President Trump was unaware and the whistleblower omitted from the report that the US Government in February of 2019 had open-source intelligence that the Ukrainian government was already planning to reopen the Burisma investigation.

Straight from the transcript of the call between Presidents, President Trump stated,

“I would like you to do us a favor though, because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with
this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike … I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server (DNC server), they say Ukraine has it.  There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation .. I think you are surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General (Barr) call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it.”

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc., a cybersecurity tech company out of Sunnyvale, California has done endpoint security, threat intelligence and cyberattack response internationally for years.  The FBI, when investigating the DNC server hack, looked at CrowdStrike’s “imaged” (or exact copy) servers instead of the DNCs actual servers.  Trump obviously has classified, unreleased intelligence that the hack came from Ukraine or someone wealthy in Ukraine has evidence of where it came from (Likely Russia distributed it via Ukraine).  This would explain the FBI’s dead end with CrowdStrike, and reaching out to President Zelensky for further investigation in their country to find out what happened after the data was taken from the DNC servers.

Where in the transcript do you see quid pro quo from President Trump?  Nowhere.  Democrats suggest that Trump withheld foreign aid from Ukraine and that was his (assumed) way of initiating quid pro quo.  No one has ever been convicted of a crime because an outside party assumed their intent.  Intent has to be proven – something like a verbal or written omission of guilt like Joe Biden’s in the video above.

In August of 2018, almost an entire year before Trump’s call with Zelensky happened, Politico wrote an article (Read the article here) summarizing the Administration’s plan to cut foreign aid.  It was a staple in President Trump’s campaign in 2016 and obviously continues to be.  Foreign aid provides leverage against other NATO allies not paying their fair share.  The United States pours billions of dollars into Europe and Asia in an effort to promote stability and if we were to stop, Germany, France and Great Britain would suffer greatly.

The Democrat majority in the House, with 3 defections and no Republican support, impeached President Trump for something they legally cannot prove, based on multiple far-reached assumptions of intent with no factual evidence.  The Senate will continue for a couple more weeks with this trial charade and acquit President Trump.

This will all lead to an in-depth investigation into Burisma in Ukraine, the release of John Durham’s report on the origins of the fake dossier that lead to the start of the Russia investigation and ultimately the reelection of Donald J Trump.

Maybe President Trump is guilty of quid pro quo – with the Democrats in the House of Representatives.  Impeachment for a second term.
